DNA Genetics
Founded by Don and Aaron in the early 2000s, DNA Genetics brings together decades of West Coast growing experience and Dutch innovation. Originating in California during the 1980s, the pair relocated to Amsterdam in 2003 to pursue their passion for cannabis genetics on legal ground. With just a few hundred dollars and a dream, they opened the first DNA Genetics store—still running strong today.
Their impact on the cannabis world was almost immediate. In 2004, their strain L.A. Confidential took 3rd place at the High Times Cannabis Cup. A year later, they earned their first 1st place title with Martian Mean Green. Since then, DNA Genetics has gone on to win over 200 international awards, including multiple first-place finishes across indica, sativa, and hybrid categories.
